After a successful meeting with Remploy clients we are now working together to assist with registration for temporary employment and - hopefully - a successful career in housing. Disabled candidates are greatly under represented within housing and we hope that together, we can change this. We do need your help though! We would urge you, when filling either temporary or permanent vacancies, to consider candidates who perhaps do not have the experience but do have transferrable skills, especially in customer service and administration posts.
Another alternative could be for your organisation to provide voluntary work experience for these clients as this would assist them when seeking paid employment.
